For so many people finances are a major Source of Stress… There is a lot of research that says during the pandemic people were even more worried about their finances than they were their health.
It’s IMPORTANT TO DEAL WITH YOUR MONEY STRESS
So I want to encourage all of you listening to this live to consider working with a planner you trust to face your money stress head on…. You deserve it!
Helping clients to get closer to their dreams and creating financial transformations is one of the things I love most about their job… Our team feel privileged and humbled to get the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the people we work with…
If you are someone who is losing sleep around your finances- this is the live for you.
We are going to spill the tea on what are clients tell us they experience when they do a financial plan and how we help them and provide some real-life client Examples…
TYPES OF CLIENTS WHO REACH OUT TO US
Clients who want to take a closer look at their finances to see how everything fits together in their financial life. They have insurance, investments but don’t have a plan and don’t really understand or have ever seen their financial life laid out so they can understand where they are, where they are going and if they are on the right track. Including what they want to happen.
HOW WE TAKE AWAY THEIR FINANCIAL STRESS
What their current financial situation looks like. What their situation will look like in the future making conservative assumptions, and then this is the fun part – SHOWING CLIENTS WHAT IS POSSIBLE and the OPPORTUNITIES in their circumstances based on organizing their financial data and using this information to make conservative assumptions about their current and future circumstances
- Help them to find cash they did not know they had or were entitled to.
- Other times I Can I reassure them they are on the right track after taking a closer look at their financial data. There is nothing more exciting for clients than seeing what their cashflow and networth will look like over time based on current spending and saving patterns.
What JACKIE LEARNED ABOUT FINANCES IN HER 25 YEARS IN THE BIZ
When it comes to finances the Numbers tell the story… Financial planners look for alignment in your story- what you tell us you want to happen, what your fears are- what you are doing about it and where you are right now… Then we look at the numbers for alignment- Is what you are telling me aligned to what your doing? If not, we need to discuss this and then my job is to show you the misalignment if there is misalignment- with Humor- and of course your DATA… Confidante community is what you are doing with their finances supporting or hurting your long-term plans? This is a common conversation I also have with clients…
WHAT OUR SOME OF OUR CLIENTS BIGGEST FINANCIAL CHALLENGES THAT WE OVERCOME
1) Some of my female clients tell me they worry about eating cat food in retirement
2) They told us they were sitting on cash and they didn’t like it.. They are worried the majority of their savings is sitting in a savings account collecting dust instead of growing.
3) They are in the middle of a life event, and they need DATA to help them make decisions… This is often the case when I worked with divorced women who may not have looked as closely at their finances before- but urgently need to know. Some of the questions they want answers to, will I be ok? Will I have enough from the settlement to maintain my lifestyle on my own, buy another property, look after my kids, and retire? In these circumstances- its all about the DATA.
4) When I work with business owners, they are keenly aware that they are their retirement plan. And they need to save for retirement while building a business, paying taxes, and paying their team.
For Business owners, building an income stream outside of their business is important. They also want to understand whether it makes sense for them to incorporate and how much cash they should be taking from their corporation. Educating them about the process is so key especially if they have never worked with a planner before and don’t know what to expect.
WHY CLIENTS GET EMOTIONALLY INVESTED IN THE PROCESS
They Love that we show them their optimal possibilities for their future … Clients tell us they get excited when they find out they have options to create a financially secure after facing a life event. When clients find out they are going to be OK and they have OPTIONS. It is so amazing to witness our clients Going through Financial and emotional transformations in terms of their relationship to money… They can see that money is not abstract. They become invested in their own financial future when they get up close and personal with their financial data. And for us, it’s incredible to be apart of their journey…
